What is Laser Genesis?
Laser Genesis is a non-invasive laser treatment that is commonly used for skin rejuvenation and anti-aging purposes. How does it work?
Laser Genesis works by using a laser to heat up the deeper layers of the skin. The laser emits a specific wavelength of light that penetrates the skin and targets the dermis, the layer of skin below the outermost layer (epidermis).
The heat generated by the laser causes a mild thermal injury to the dermis, which triggers the body's natural healing response. This response includes the production of new collagen, a protein that gives skin its firmness and elasticity.
What to expect?
The treatment is usually performed in a series of sessions, with each session taking between 20 and 30 minutes to complete. During the treatment, the laser is passed over the skin in a continuous motion, and patients typically experience a mild warming sensation.
