As with every MediSpa treatment a thorough consultation takes place prior to your session to determine if you are a suitable candidate. Some types of fat are hard to the touch, due to genetic factors, so they may not respond to treatment. It is important for a trained professional to assess the area you wish to treat in order to ensure that the fat cells will respond to treatment. Soft fat that you can grab hold of in your hand will respond really well, whereas hard fat which is often positioned behind the muscle wall may not respond at all. Certain medical conditions, medication and circulatory disorders may mean that fat freeze is not an option for you, however for more than 80% of our clients Fat Freeze is a viable, safe alternative to cosmetic surgery, with no downtime or pain involved.
You can treat multiple areas on the same day; however, you can only freeze the same area once every 3 months. It takes about 3 months for the treated fat cells to be eliminated by the body’s waste removal system.
It can take up to 90 days to see the full effect of a single Fat Freeze session, at which time we recommend having a second session on the same area to get further results. Fat Freeze is clinically proven to reduce fat pockets by 20% to 40 % per application. Since every person will have a different response based on lifestyle, hormones, and genetics we always recommend planning on treating the same area with a minimum of two session to achieve optimal results.
